You don't have to play Pickle Ball to head to the Nexton Pickle Bar for its Cheers-style bar with what I believe is the best food in the area. This is not "bar food." We are talking about a top-shelf chef creating quality, tasty dishes with apps, entrees, and desserts (try the Dr. Pepper cake!). Alisa, Tina, and Pat — the owners— are onsite, making sure the pickleball players outside and the foodies inside are having a good time!
We had the BEST time at The Pickle Bar in Nexton! Our group of nearly 20 reserved two covered courts, and it was the perfect setup for a fun and social afternoon. The food was great—we tried the pickle fries, Cobb salad, and chicken salad sandwich, and everything was fresh and delicious. Our server, Noah, was fantastic and handled all of our needs (and separate checks!) with ease and a great attitude. Highly recommend this spot for groups, celebrations, or anyone just looking for a good time. We’ll definitely be back!
THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! A group of us came for a period of time on our bachelorette trip and Stephanie was our main server and she was DIVINE!!!! Would 100% recommend to anyone for an amazing time. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was great. 10/10 LOVE!!!
We drove out of our way to try this place out not realizing it was a pickleball place. Honestly, we are from out of town and thought it just had a cute name and probably lots of pickles. Anyway, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and fun style of this establishment. The food was delicious, service was good, plentiful parking, and overall a unique experience. I absolutely recommend this place!
Food is very good, some of the portions could be a little bigger for some orders but other ones make up for it. Very good weekly deals on food and drinks, menu prices are reasonable. Great place to bring the whole family and you can even bring your dog 🐕 to the outdoor portion.
Great spot for catching up with friends and/or keeping it family-friendly. Service was great and the entire staff was so attentive and friendly. The food looked great but was lacking some flavor for our group of four. I know the full menu just rolled out a few days ago but will be back and give it another shot. Excited for a cool, new space!
The seasoned fries were the star of the night, but no one in our group had a bad meal. Portions are really nice and the food was great! The entire facility is well maintained and clean. 4 covered courts, 4 uncovered, corn hole and plenty of room to sit outside and relax. It's definitely worth a visit. A true hidden gem.
Had our Christmas party here and it could not have been better! The staff was attentive, warm and welcoming! We had so much fun and they did everything for us! We had a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend coming here and if you have an event coming up, consider this facility!
My friend and I were traveling across the country in South Carolina and came upon The pickle bar is pretty awesome, if you like pickleball you can play, if you just want drinks you can get them, and if you want dinner or lunch it is awesome. Are waitress was more than kind, very attentive , and the young woman who brought us her food was very pleasant as well. The restaurant was nice and quiet they were pickleball outside but it did not interfere with us at all. We could talk without yelling at each other it was so nice. I had the wedge salad which was so fresh the tomatoes felt like they were picked today. My friend had the patty melt it was very big. He said it was so good and it was on toasted bread not a bun. He also had extra bacon which kicked it over the top. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal.
5 stars all around for The Pickle Bar Nexton! I’ve been coming here for at least 8 months (if not longer) and I can confidently say this place is the best bang for your buck. I have the monthly membership and it’s absolutely worth it. From the staff to the players, everyone is welcoming, friendly, and makes it a great environment every time you step on the courts. It’s always a fun, positive vibe, whether you’re playing casually or getting competitive. And let’s talk about the food—always amazing. I honestly haven’t tried a single thing I didn’t like yet. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great pickleball, great people, and great food in Nexton.
